Default K24 Turbo (TSX)

I was browsing around on several forums regarding a turbo for the TSX. Is it possible? I've only seen TSX owners supercharging (Comptech) their rides. Is it a possible issue w/ the K24 i-Vtech engine? Interesting stuff

Its possible. Super Chargers are found to be more reliable for daily drivers.

Ah, that makes sense. Does a supercharger or turbo charger make an impact on gas mileage?

Even not in boost the SC will effect it a little bit because you have to run a longer belt. It will be like the AC is on all the time.

plus any extra belts on a system causes stress on all electral units as well as the ps, etc. and if it were to snap it would be a mess, unless it was singled out but even still.

I found that in my experience with a supercharged vehicle I got the same MPG in the city and the highway. Just as long as I keep my foot out of the hole. That is when my gas mileage drops drastically.

When our truck's gas mileage drops, usualy means the truck is shut off or we're out of gas..

Thing does 20mpg avg. (City and Highway both.)
