'99 oddysey, 70k miles
I noticed after parking it in the garage there was a sulfer smell, and after it was sitting in the lot thre was the same smell any ideas as to what it could be?

Generally speaking the sulfur smell you are experiencing is caused by your battery being over charged. This will cause the battery to "burp". You need to have it looked at ASAp as it can cause the battery to explode if not taken care of.

Leave it running with the hood open, run the throttle up from the linkage. Then pay attention to the battery. Are there the 2 normal little fill panels on top. If so is one kind of kicked open a little more than the other, then you know it is over charging, plus you can smell it.

I know it was sarcasm, but the battery explodes chemically* from the gas escaping the teminals. That's why you're told to ground jumper cables to another part of the car, it could make a spark and blow the battery up. Just looking at it won't offer any fire (unless you smoke). So you will be totally safe.
I say chemically because over heating is another problem when it melts the out side core of the battery.
