Default Honda CR-V loose steering

Recently my cr-v lost control around a right hand corner (skidded and lost balance) I brought it to the mechanic and had new breaks placed, rotors replaced and alignment done, all suspension, shocks, and struts, ball joints, steering rack, etc were inspected and nothing wrong was found. My cr-v has about 70,000 and the steering recently seems more loose, also with freeway speeds it seems a bit unstable and downhill I wonder if it is in the the wrong gear however no transmission light shows etc. I got new tires summer 09, and have been driving the same roads. Any ideas, please help!

what year are we dealing with here....also are you able to turn the steering wheel with very little effect on the steering or does it just seem "lighter" than normal?

2005, and steering feels lighter and when I make corners I am using more of the steering wheel, if that makes sense. Even moving it a little makes the car move more than before. Thanks
