I've replaced my dead USDM engine with a JDB engine. Since the swap, the car has constanly been giving me misfires on all 4 cyclinders and always had a rough idle (however, only when warm). The car shakes a bit only when idling and hot. The shaking is sometimes more stronger then at other time but it only happens when the engine is hot. On the highway it runs fine, though I'm getting very bad mileage.
I've changed the: TB, distributor, all 4 injectors, both O2 sensors. I've Cleaned the EGR and Cleaned intake valves from carbon buildup, I've checked timing belt 3 times. I do have a problem with the dash (the lights go away for weeks and then suddenly come back again). Also, the odometer stopped at 350,000 (before I changed the engine). Speedometer and other gauges work fine. Wondering if this is a VSS (vihicle speed sensor) problem that' causing the misfire on all 4 cylinders. The misfire does not show up right away. The check engine light comes on only after driving on the highway and flashes every often only when driving above 120 km/h. I'm completely clueless. I've shown this to 3 different mechanics and everytime they ask me to change something I did, but the misfire and rough idle persists. No other codes show up. Any help would be much appreciated.
