CRVs, overall, are pretty good cars. Most of the generations have tended to suffer from problemetic A/C units. They go out around 60K - 80k with frequent use in a hot climate. The interrior plastic molding will suffer wear and sometimes pop off after frequent use (tailgate, lower door sills).

Other than that, what you see is pretty much what you get -- overall good car. This is based on the past 4 that my family has owned across each new generation.

in adition to a/c failures...the 4 w/d drive model have rear diff chatter usually fluid related. also have a high rate of #2 o2 sensor failures
