WTF, my post didn't come up last night. I had this one answered.
Anyway, what I wrote before was that the Odyssey is (and was ) built off the Accord chassis, so Accord springs might work. But the Odyssey is a good deal heavier, so you may become very familiar with the bumpstops. Try it out if you have a set. Don't cut them (a dumb idea, and it would ruin a perfectly good set of springs), but if they are too high, try some Accord struts too. KYBs are fairly cheap and stiff enpough to hold up the Odyssey. Actually you might even find Odyssey KYBs. That would be perfect. The Eibachs you havem are they the Sportline or Pro Kit? The Sportline is stiffer and lower and would be better suited for your application.

As long as you don't cut off more than one coil on your springs the ride stays the same.

You should have seen my old bmw 318i (1984) that I cut the springs on. I cut almost half the spring off. THAT was pretty low. Ruined the nice smooth ride it had. It didn't ride all that bad even still, but certainly had to go slower, and couldn't blaze over the speed humps.
Hopefully I can dig out the Eibachs and find some time this weekend to play around with things. I doubt I will though since I'm gutting my office to turn it into a bedroom for my 2 year old son, and then turning his old smaller room into my new smaller office. Ugh, the things we'll do for our kids! ![]() I'll let everyone know what I find once I DO finally find time to tinker with it though. I have a feeling I'll be digging up another set of factory springs from the local salvage yards, and then cutting one of the sets in the end though. I won't cut anything until I have a full spare set of originals though, in case I want to put it back to stock later, or just can't stand the ride. Luckily these first gen Ody's are fairly short as it is, so the center of gravity isn't too horrible to begin with. Of course if I can find some used H&R's or Teins, or manage to scrape the extra funds together (that the wife doesn't deem more useful on household projects and kids) I'll buy some and not worry about Frankensteining the van.

On my buddys G20 we cut my stock 01 Accord springs and slapped them on there. It actually rode better than his stocks.

Get some fender flares that go lower on the fenders so there's less air inbetween the tire and fender. Better look, and you don't have to worry about the ride issue.
