Default TL-s and navi

Does anyone else think that its wierd that navi is standard on the TL-S, I mean, its not even standard on the RL, and its not something that a performance oriented varient really requires.

I've had my TL-Type S for 2 days now. I love everything about the Navi system. It includes the rear camera for backing up. I can search for just about anything through voice commands, like "nearest mexican restaurant". I'm sure if I were in a town that I grew up in, it wouldn't be that great of a benefit. But having moved to Albuquerque for just over a year, it helps out a great deal. The only drawback, is that the "2007" edition of the DVD is not updated to included newer roads. Even Yahoo maps and Google maps have had the new streets for 2 years now.

I have owned my TL-S for almost 8 months now. I am glad that it came with the nav system, would have ordered it even if it didn't. But I hardly use it. When I have, it has been great. Love the restraunt search!! BUT, I HATE when someone gets in the car, like on the way to the ballgame, etc. and they push the OK button. Unlike the RDX, you are stuck with the map, until you shut the car down. By the way, you can order the updated DVD from Acura.com.

Default Navi version for02 TL-S?

Just got a 2002 TL-S and it does not have the disc for the navi system. I am looking to beg/borrow/steal or buy a disc. Does anyone know the Version I need? Also, does anyone know if I can get one burned if I find someone with the same year/model? Will all newer versions work in my car? Are there any with Canada included? Although it was a Californis car the owner moved to Canada and I probably do not need detailed instructions of how to get to Waycross, Georgia.
Thanks

I just got a 2008 TL-S a few weeks ago. What is this navi DVD everyone keeps talking about? Did I miss something reading over my manual?

I purchased an 08 TL-TYPE S and glad it has the NAVI, however, $2000 is kind of steep considering you can buy a good GPS for under $200. Hate paying the extra $ For the real-time traffic update but it does help.
