Default that darn flashing d4

Hey all,

I have a 94 Legend GS

About a year ago I had a problem in winter where the car would be hard to start after running. It would be about 2-3 minutes of turning over before it would start and then run fine. This lasted only a few weeks and then never again.

Now the speedometer freaks out (mostly in rain). It will either drop to zero or fluctuate wildly. After it does that, the D4 flashes 2 times per second.
There are no side effects at all at this time. The car drives like it is new.
I have read it could be the dash relay, the speed sensor, the tranny, ...etc.

I can bring it to Acura but the $85 per hour is a little steep. There has to be someone that knows and not just guesses! Any help????
Thank

It is the speed sensor, mine was doing it also, all it was, the plug had come loose somehow, just pushed it down heard the plug click, no problems since.

if checking the plug doesn't fix it...it is held on by one bolt and it is really easy to switch out....it is located on the casing closest to the firewall. It is inbetween the two half shafts on the tranny...right above the diff.
