The S2000 was on Car and Driver's Ten Best list for 2000 through 2002 and 2004.
The S2000 was the highest-ranked model in the J.D. Power and Associates 2004 Vehicle Dependability Study's "Premium Sports Car" class, and consistently holds one of the top three positions.
The F20C engine won the International Engine of the Year award in the "1.8 to 2 liter" size category for five years from 2000 through 2004.

do you own an s2000, I just bought one it has 12000 1 owner miles. Under normal to moderate driving do you find the engines use a bit of oil?? if so how much over 1000 miles

The S does use up a decent amount of oil. MY00 and MY01 (Make Year) Use more than 02+.

The F20C1 was not in the 04+ so i dont understand how it was 5 years running. You have to remember that many driver magazines are wrong.

i have always wanted to get an s2k but never had the money for it...maybe someday.

I deffinatly wish you the best of luck. You can get one for around 14,000 if you can get a loan for that much.

My car has 25000 kms about 15000 miles it does not use any oil between changes. its a 2005 model. Thinking about a vortec charger, any experience with those??
