Default Snappy Steering

When I'm cornering aggresively during the exit the car sort of snaps in the opposite direction of the turn when I straighten out. Is this normal, because I'm driving more aggresively now (have only been driving for about 5 months) or are the tires dying

(btw. car is at mid 10k with original tires and last oil change at 4700 )

You can't let off the gas all at once, you have to ease it off around the corner.

Okay, that might be what I'm doing, I'll have to check next time I drive.

I'm not sure what it was, I drove today the same way, and it didn't happen. Maybe it was the road surface

btw. I hit VTEC for the first time

Be careful not to hit VTEC while in a sharp corner or you'll spin if you don't know what your doing. If you enter a corner after cross over it's different.

I've never been near VTEC in a corner, I still drive pretty slowly. The only time I used VTEC is because I pulled out in front of a Ford SUV that I didn't see in a 55.

(driving fast with my dad in the car isn't a good idea when I'm trying to get a car for myself)

how hard are you driving because if your slidin a little when you come out of the apex then your counter correction is to much. if your not sliding then its just when your coming out the apex your punching the gas too much or your straightenin the wheel past straight and your turning to the otherside a little. its most likely a lttle of both.

I think the back was sliding a little (tires definatly low on tred) and I was just using too much gas (read WOT)

I haven't really driven the s2k since I got the Si, mainly because its really cold out (read single digits to teens) and there is snow / salt on the ground.
