Default S2000 - Too big or Too small

When I drive the s2000 the seatbelt becomes annoying after a while because it applies a lot of pressure to my left shoulder. I also can't see the tach (which gets a little scary when you get up in revs) and I can forget about seeing stoplights.

When my dad drives the seatbelt makes an annoying sound as it rubs against the leather of the chair because he's too short.
(on a side note we went to the lotus dealer and he fits perfectly in the elise)

Is there anyway to stop the seatbelt rubbing or adjust the steering wheel?

Your dad must be a very little man to be comfortable in a Lotus. The S2000 steering wheel does not adjust and as far as the seat belt maybe your seat is to learned back. I never have a problem with it.

It was wierd when we went to the lotus dealer, when the salesman talked about the designer my dad is about the same height an 10lbs lighter.

I have the seat pretty vertical, it feels wierd to drive with it leaning back, although I noticed that when I do I can see the tach.
(at least the s2000 seats recline, unlike lotus ones)

I just hope I don't get much taller, my knee is starting to hit the steering wheel when I go from the accellerator to the brake.

You should have seen my dad's friend who's over 6 1/2 feet tall in the s2000
(and thats before we realized the passenger seat was adjustable)

My friend is in the 6'5" range and fits into mine with some seat adjustments and he is very comfortable. Just sit out one night and play with the seat, it's a give and take deal towards how far the seat is leaned or scooted back.

The reason it was so funny to see my dad's friend was because for some stupid reason we had not figured out that the seat moved back yet
(of course we also thought we broke the roof before we found out about the parking brake thing)

I was told that the s2000 has more leg room than the z4, boxster, and 350z, which does sort of make sense, once you forget about low that steering wheel.

Another annoying this is that I always seem to be driving in a slightly different position because my dad is usually the last person to have driven the car.
(trying to merge when the top is up and after you forgot to adjust the side mirrors is not fun)
