Default How long should the clutch last in a RSX-S

Any thoughts, is a new clutch at 50k a sign of a abused vehicle?

I found out that the reason it has a new clutch is that it is a salvaged / rebuilt car.

If you try to resale your gonna get little to nothing for the car. However, being your first car it will likely be wrecked. You can't finance a salvaged car and can only get liability on it so that's a good thing. Your insurance won't be too nuts. You should obey traffic laws, but I think that's something most people have to find out for themselves.

So rebuilt is good for a 1st car

btw, the seller only had the car for 2 months, so thats not a good sign.

I wouldn't buy salvaged, ur gonna have trouble getting someone to insure the car. i'd call ur insurance company first to make sure. and 50k on the stock clutch is way to early for it be going out imo, i think in the 75k-100k would be more reasonable

I dont know now...I had a salvage car that got financed and had full coverage on it...

But to be fair it was an 88 Alfa Romeo Spider Quadrifoglio...so it was a very rare car...

I even resold it for twice what I paid for it!
