What do all of you think about the RSX?
ride performance safety the part I'm most concerned about is space, is it suitable for 6' tall people, are the back seats usable at all?

RSX-S with Hondata reflash, Header, Intake, and full exhaust can keep pace with a stock S2000 in a straight line. The suspension can't be too horrible either. Looks are great IMO. The tranny isn't the best but better than the Si tranny. Mods are pretty common, however engine bay space is limited. It's a Honda so it has to be safe. Even the S2000 has a 5 star front crash rating (A long with any other Honda. Not 100% sure if that covers Acura also)

Great car, i have an 04 and am slowly in the process of adding 05+ stuff to it. If it wasn't for the 05+ front end and rear, i would have gotton one of those.
Its got better cams, and a shorter final drive for more agressive gearing. Performance is great, alot of top end pull and very bolt on friendly. Stock ride quality is great, once you lower it, you lose some comfort (unless you go with mugen) but peformance is greatly increased Safte, it has front and side airbags, but i've been told that they are very safe. Space for the driver and passenger are plenty but at the same time give syou a cock pit feel with bucket seats and a small steering wheel. The back seat is impracticle, all of my back seat passengers end up smashing thier heads on the side pillers running down the rear hatch.

I think the lights on the 02-04 are a lot better looking than the 05-06, I've seen both of them on the street, and the earlier front lights are a lot more unique, and the bumps in the later tail lights don't look that great.
Does anyone know anything about the a-spec stuff?

u can pretty much mark the rsx as a 2-seater. my friend is 6'5" & he fits in the driver/passenger comfortably. when it comes to the back seats, they're only good for short trips. ive had alot of complaints from hitting their heads on the roof & side pillars.

I like the RSX. I have a 06 Type S and it is great. The power is good with just a few bolt ons, but the ride can be a little rough. As far a space, I am 6" and there is plenty of room. I can even get people in my backseat, but it is a tight fit with two back there. Like everyone else said if you buy one go Type S.

Type S is definately a great car, i have an 02 and thought one of the best things about it right out of the box was the suspension, little rough, but a small sacrifice for the great cornering. I live on a really curvey mountain road and it handles like a champ through these corners. Just need a little more pep coming out of the corners. Other than that i have no complaints. But I am also short, so space isnt that big of an issue with me, hehe.

I just bought an 04 RSX this year and I love it. Its just a real sexy car. Im 6' and no complaints here. The back seats aren't used that much. So who ever rides back there too bad. Great handling especially with minor suspension mods. Unfortunately at the time I did not know the difference between base model and Type-S was night and day.(currently novice on honda motors) But nothing a few engine mods can't fix.
