well technically.. the engine can last as long as u want it to.. if u maintance it and dont drive it hard.. but when it does start to go u can jus rebuild it and if u wanna keep the car forever jus keep rebuilding it..

and i like the idea of takin the type-s logo off thats smart haha ppl would be like wtf i thought that only the t type-s only had a type r valve cover

My dad drives all over the state with a '00 truck he's been through I think 2 engines and about three transmission he's put on over 1.1 million miles and its still going with a few repairs along the way.

I drove a Neon to 140k with original everything. I sold it off to some 16 year old kid... I'm sure he'll still get another 50 out of it easily. Original clutch and all.

It's all about how you take care of it. I expect at least 150 out of my RSX... I do a ton of city driving though...
