You know what the easiest way is? Just replace your stock speakers with something better (unless you already have Bose from the factory). I put in 4 6.5" Alpine speakers in my 'Teg and I got way more volume and bass.

Honestly Installing a sub aint too hard.. I installed mine on my Accord and I am horrible with wires n such! So you know that it can't be too hard.. The hardest thing was finding a place in my firewall to feed the wire threw to the battery..

i think this is more along the lines of how to use the factory amp and head unit and be able to add some bass.

that box looks a bit small for that sub though...

I know I'm getting beat up over it, but Yup. I have the Bose system from the factory (Standard equipment on "Type S" trim). Yes i'm trying to be tight with my money. LOL.

I like the sound of the bose speakers and what not, but that 5" sub in the back is just to weak for me, i need a little more bump, but i don't want to go through to replace the WHOLE head unit, both amps, speakers and what not like other people have suggested. The stock HU that the car comes with (6 disk in dash) is fine for me. I just gotta say it one more time. . . i just need a little more bump.

If all you want to do is put a little more bump in your trunk, its not that hard to do. We did that with my civic, we just unhooked the subwoofer that came with the car. Just make sure you get a capacitor and monster cable, than just run the cable through the car to the capacitor to the battery. Now we just added the epicenter to my car to up the base even more.
