Honda Club Midwest Weekend Event - HondaClub.com

Hi All!

I think there might be some interest in getting together one weekend (Midwest) to do some driving. This could be a quick one day event with a car show, hitting the local back roads, and then going to the local bar and grill or this could be something more elaborate...... think Gumball 3000 over 2 days will less speed (or more if you prefer). Something like this would probably include 1 night of hotel stay and we could trek over the midwest and hit some cool events/hotspots. The s2k club does this frequently, with the last trip being a week and a half from Arizona desert to Cali.

I was thinking about planning something, but I need to see how much interest there is, what everyones preference is in terms of length and timing of the event, and to get some ideas from everyone on what they would like to do.

You know what would really be wild? Crashing one of HOTORD's parties. Either their Drag Weeks or Power Tour. With all of the Mustangs Camaros and Darts that show up to those things, it would be cool to knock around a few muscle cars with some Hondas (and one really pissed of Nissan). After a few days...I think some of us would earn their respect. Your S2K sure would. I'd say the Power Tour because they also do stuff like an autocross, not just all drag racing.

I wish they had stuff like that around the south. Only thing I have seen around here were a few all Vette shows that I drove through and made one guy look like an ass. HAHAHA

thats a wild idea but it would be fun, cuz im sure some of our people would kick some a$$, show the muscle punks who rules the streets. Go for it

how about we get some people set up some classes go to the drag strip and race to see whos got the fastest car in each class?
