Anyone around there? I am gonna be there in about a month or so for the weekend. My girl and I need a vacation so thats where we will run off to. If anyone knows of any good places to go out to and we can rest our heads it would be appreciated.

Galveston rocks! I went there for some R&R&R&R&R.... a few weeks ago. You'll have to try out Moody Gardens if you're into an aquatic type of museum.

Thats cool. Yeah I just need a vacation. And a nice place to take pics of the DD. I am just unsure on what hotel to stay at. I want to stay on the seawall but my girl won't let me spend the money haha.

If you are going to Galveston you could drive a little further and hit Padre Island. I you like beaches the beach there is a little better and its not too crazy unless its a holiday, otherwise its pretty quiet.

I have been to Padre Island for the 4th one year. HAHA, good stuff.
