Default Please help

I have a 1994 Honda Civic dx I did a 1.8ls swap with a type r tranny, I still am running the dx computer. I am having a problem, When I don't beat on the car it feels like it holds back till I get to 4200 rpms the the car take off like vtec. The cars is not vtec. Can you help? I don't know if some one writes to me about this if it goes right to my email or aim. If not here's my info.

chip tune it wth p28 you will see big dif

put the b18 computer in there and you will notice a difference. Also, change the harness if you cut / hacked everything together the 92-95 civic / 90-97 integra ecu's are different.

If you chip it, you could solve this problem and just change the base map to the b18 ecu but without modifying the ecu, your going to have problems

I didn't cut the harness at all. Will 1.8 computer plug into the stock dx plugs.

Well I guess I should have asked you a more detailed question before giving you an answer. What motor are you running. whats the block # (i.e: B18a, B18b)

you get a ex ecu go to tunning shop they put a program in it then tune ecu for motor you are using p28 is what we use . have one on a itb setup, a h22 ,b16 ,turbo ls , b20b works great

There's not an ecu that will just plug in a work

ya the factory teg one will,but a chipped ecu is so muc more fun .our b16 da teg has one it's got a 4k launch controll in it . great for making v 8 look dumb and factor ls ecu will plug right in
