Default I got coil over springs for stock shocks

Does anyone know how too take off the stock springs without a spring compressor?

u can take the one nut holding the shock off and then carefully jack the car up that should take enough tension off of it to get it out or jus go to autozone and rent one its there free loan a tool program

You know, I though about doing the jack thing. It seems simple but it might not let the spring all the way down. Thank you for the idea, maybe I will rent one.

Do you know where I can get some instructions for installing the springs? They didnt come with any >_<

You are going to need a compressor to do this safely...you can rent one or just buy a set...and then when you are done just sell it to one of your friends.

Unless you are experienced with suspension components...which when you asked the question I know you are a novice, I would try the jack or kickoff methods. You will end up hurting yourself or someone else.

I used two crank tie down straps for the spring, and it worked little scary though...

easy. The way i did it on my honda fit. Take the whole spring and shock assembly and place it on some grass, flat. Then take ur socket wrench and with your foot on the spring part, slowly loosten the bolt. The grass will stop the spring to fly. You will just have it move like an inch. Now if u were to put your stock springs back on, you are going to need a spring compressor. a free rental from autozone should take care of that.
