Cool 89 Honda Prelude Lock Cylinder

I just bought a 89 honda prelude si auto from this guy that tows cars for a living he says the car was sitting for six months and nobody claimed it. He had the dealer make keys for the vend# of the car but they didnt turn the ignition.

I drive a 00 integra 1.8 liter manual trans and I love it to def.

I guess my question is (assuming it runs after I switch out the lock cylinder) what would you do to make it more appealing, $1,000 the limit.
