It's in the paint. There is actually blue and a small amount of green in there too. Making it called "Nighthawk" The EP civics also have the same thing.

Spa and Rio yellow S2000's have real gold flake in the paint. Its very expensive to have repainted and no 2 batchs ever look the same. < Random FYI.

i painted my front lip, foglights, and soon the roof that color. I love the Nighthawk Black, it is one of my favorite blacks and the metallic flakes in it give it that extra exellence.

wow bring a thread back from the dead, i cant believe i never responded to any of this. Thank you for all the compliments, Yes they are rotas, yes it took 7 hours to fully detail, and then a ****ing water droplet ran out of the mirror, and yes nighthawk black pearl uses blue and green metalic flake. It took FOREVER to get the blue to shine that deeply
