Default My first dyno pull!!

Ok, now no laughing. I mean it.

This is my first dyno pull, EVER! Not only that, but it's the first time I've thrashed on this car and I discovered a lot of things.

1: I need a new clutch.
2: I need to learn where my rev limiter is
3: I need to bolt down my passenger seat better
4: I need to find a better dyno
5: I need to do some head work on the car

I'm not going to tell you the numbers right away. Take a guess on what she ran. It's a JDM B16 with a comptech header, aftermarket exhaust, factory intake without a filter, and a walbro 255lph fuel pump. As far as I know, stock clutch.

180 bhp and 145 ft/lbs based off of what you said and not knowing what gen b16 and all. that would be my guess!

Sorry, I should have clarified........the dyno was just a 1/4 mile pass. No HP or TQ readings were done that day. Just 1/4 mile speed and time.

oh sorry about that when i read the thread and saw the pic it was kind of misleading. Okay, so speed would have been 90 mph at about 12.8 sec. How close am I?

I appreciate the "pick me up," but you are to fast. It was a slower time.

Keep in mind the things I need work on, these REALLY hurt me.

dont mean to be like a dick, but a dyno cannot accurately tell a 1/4 time, Theres so many factors such as wheel spin, traction, etc...

you'll be lucky with that set up if you run high 16s on a bad clutch.

yes but if you read a couple of threads before that post he said it was a 1/4 run as a type of dyno not an actual dyno.

oh no i understand what kind of dyno it is, but it cannot accurately determine a 1/4 mile time becuase of the factors i listed above.

Stitch is right on the money on this one.

I ran a 16.4 that day. I have to get it on the track next year after the new clutch and see what happens.
