Very nice CRX. Too many people have been building them up with stereos and other useless crap.
I kind of like the lifted CRX. I bet it would rally pretty good like that. I'll have to remember that when the Lemon CRX gets done in August. Maybe I can take it out in the dirt before sending it to the crusher. |

Yeah mine had coilovers when I bought it and they were really bouncy. Short chassis + stiff springs = bad ride. And it doesn't help that the CRX is incredibly stiff for its age.

Bouncy cars suck. You can't drive them hard because every time you hit a bump in a corner, the car slides. Bouncy rides are the result of cheap parts and bad tuning. The fastest street cars are stiff, but controlled, and never bounce. The base EVO VIII and IX actually suffer from being too stiff. The MR is softer and that's where the extra grip comes from. It can actually take a stance without bouncing off line.

They sound like they are cheap coilovers. If you want a softer ride progressive rate springs are the way to go.
