Very nice CRX. Too many people have been building them up with stereos and other useless crap.

I kind of like the lifted CRX. I bet it would rally pretty good like that. I'll have to remember that when the Lemon CRX gets done in August. Maybe I can take it out in the dirt before sending it to the crusher.

Thanks

The guy with the lifted crx just stopped by and its now slammed on coilovers. Looks good but the ride is really bouncy.

Yeah mine had coilovers when I bought it and they were really bouncy. Short chassis + stiff springs = bad ride. And it doesn't help that the CRX is incredibly stiff for its age.

Bouncy cars suck. You can't drive them hard because every time you hit a bump in a corner, the car slides. Bouncy rides are the result of cheap parts and bad tuning. The fastest street cars are stiff, but controlled, and never bounce. The base EVO VIII and IX actually suffer from being too stiff. The MR is softer and that's where the extra grip comes from. It can actually take a stance without bouncing off line.

They sound like they are cheap coilovers. If you want a softer ride progressive rate springs are the way to go.

Yea its not to bad. I'm just use to the lowering springs I have on my crx there stiff but soft enough to make the ride perfect.

Yeah the coilovers on the car suck. But I'm not about to switch them because they work. And they're only bad on pavement joints. None of those on race tracks!
