Bitches...I live 20 miles from a refinery and it's still $3.20 to fill up for regular. Premium is more like $3.60.

I have a full tank of premium in my rex as we speak. Payed 3.53/gal.
Payed 3.16/gal for regular this morning to fill up my work van.

regular gas is 2.59 some places in Dayton. It just keeps going lower, its so nice to see some relief

Here premium is like $3.05.. Regular is around $2.85

It actually has a lot to do with the stock market crashing. Oil is traded on a commodities market and since the bail out and the market "crash" people are tightening up and not spending as much....even on oil. Hence oil dropping to $76 something a barrel as of last night. Keep in mind, the oil companies aren't the only entities that have raked in a fortune on the high gas prices. If you know any retired people that have pensions, they probably own a good bit of stock in oil and a good quantity of oil too. Its all part of their pension's investment portfolio.

Ugh capitalism is starting to piss me off. I say we set up a computer to run Communism for us. Communism is actually a good idea, until you factor in the human element. So you just get computers to run the whole thing and problem's solved. Until you get HAL...

Ok I'm done. No more about the economy from me.

Lol.....I could start a whole other forum on arguing about the economy. You're right beaters, capitalism is a great idea. The computers running things would be a bright new take on it. However, I'll argue until the day I die that capitalism is the only way to go. If you don't have competition, you have mediocre products and no innovation. Why would you want to be a doctor when you could do something a lot easier and reap the same benefits? Why would you care to build a better product when people don't really even have a choice but to buy yours anyway? R and D would be a "useless" industry.

Now there are ways to improve ours....but hey, what sort of conversation is that for a build thread? Lol....sorry for my rant.
