Don't buy a water sparyer kit. Here's how to it DIY for a lot less. I'd do this on my own car, but my car is stripped of all the windshield washer sprayer parts. I keep a bottle of Windex in the backseat if things get to dirty.

yea if your really pushing your car hard the temps can start to add up. When your turbo it adds up faster. The evaporating water pulls the heat off the intercooler way faster than just air. I plan on puting one on my radiator and one on my intercooler.
If I'm not mistaken the new skyline has a intake temp senser or boost senser that actavates a intercooler water sprayer stock from Nissan. |

If you beat on the car long enough the temps can start to rise. The sprayer kit make you radiator/intercooler more efficient and can keep the temps lower so you can beat on it longer.
Under normal driving it will do nothing for your car because the theromastat will close when the temps get low. But when your beating on it the motor is heating the water faster that the radiator can cool it. The sprayer just make it cool better. Also a little update: Look what came in today finaly. ![]() |

I made a sprayer system out of my existing windshield washer fluid tank/pump and the existing lines. I just used the nozzles for my windhield. I ran one to the radiator and one to my transmission oil cooler. The only problem I see is it might not be enough water spraying out and my fuse for the windshield blades also is the fuse for the windshield washer fluid pump.
I tried to post pics but I cant figure it out ![]() Last edited by Lawless28; 08-04-2008 at 06:41 PM. |
