LOL...he has practically 0 air flow as it is. Look again at his mounting of the radiator and think of the stock location.

I've seen 100s of EFs with the radiator mounted like this and it works. I just think the intercooler isn't passing enough air to make it work. I'm going to cut about 2-2.5" of the bumper out all the way across the inside right above the intercooler to get more air into the bay. Also the fan will be wires up to run all the time, I put a bottle of water-wetter(Red Line Oil: Coolants and Others) in and I'm going to lift the back of the hood up 1" and remove the weather strip.

Raising the hood doesn't do too much. You'd think it would help, but the aero underhood is so bad that it really doesn't pull out any more air. You're better off cutting a hole in your hood and covering it with screen (think EVO style, just above the turbo and radiator). That'll help more than anything else. Though Water Wetter works pretty damn good (I'll swear by it).

Have you thought of possibly putting an aftermarket hood with a scoop?

No I don't like hoods with scoops so that is out of the Q and so is cutting a hole in it.
At this point I'm not worried about the over heating because I cant drive it anymore as the stock fuel pump is now dead. went out on me early when I tried to go to autozone before they closed. Luckily it died before I made it out of my driveway. So its parked for now until I can fully upgrade the fuel system then I'll worry about the cooling system. I'm out of cash and wont be able to get the parts for a few weeks.

That blows. Well you needed to up the fuel pump and injectors anyway so maybe the car was trying to tell you something.

so it doesn't look like it, but could you possibly squeeze that radiator in between your intercooler piping and the bumper? maybe custom fit it?

You're going to need a vented hood. Buy a spare hood and chop a hole in it. Seriously, cut it like the EVO and you'll be set.

Oh and when you shop for fuel pumps, skip Walboro. Everyone I've talked to has had problems with them. My Sil-Eighty had one when I bought it and it crapped out pretty quick (one of the reasons it didn't run). It has one now (since that's all the shop had), but the next one I buy is going to be a Denso for 300ZX TT. I've heard good things about Denso, so it might be worth investing a bit more for one of those.

Took some new pics today.
Mine and a friends car I just got done swapping a Z6 into. Its a 90 HF and it still has a ton of work but it runs great(other than a bad injector fixing it tomorrow)

This is his car 2 days after he bought it. Someone put 92-95 civic springs on it.
