Nice. Now if you can get the other parts and the tuning for free, you will be in business.

Tell him his old Dodge will detonate to Hell if he doesn't upgrade the intercooler. And then swipe the old one.

The only problem with that is the stock intercooler on a conquest can handle 20+ PSI and they flow and cool great. And he knows it. Plus I'll have to have the input and output re welded to different places.
Just waiting till the 16th and I'll start gathering parts again. |

Haha, it was worth a shot. Good luck on the turbo build. If you need any help, you know where to ask. How much power are you shooting for? Or have you not decided yet?

You would be surprised. Your engine should be able to handle 8 psi no problem, and if you have a good tuner, you can push 10 psi on the stock block. The D-Series is actually a pretty stout little motor. Just make sure you have big electric fans on the radiator, spend plenty of time on the fuel system, and make sure that your tuning is spot on. At 10 psi, you can hit 200 hp. Past that and you will want a thicker headgasket and new pistons.

Smart. That should get you in the 180 hp range. Plenty of power for that itty bitty car. And it'll be hella fun too.
