a ninja a student of (ninjitsu) focuses on getting the job done and done fast. (aiming to kill in one attack) they focus on everything. power, timing, and putting in the least amount of effort, etc they aim for joints, paralze, break necks, arms, shoulders. and so forth these guys are deadly. theres a lot of studing and practice of this art. a lot. its crazy well worth it. sorry this isnt very clear its hard for me to explain

The idea of Kenpo was real-world martial arts. For example if you see the extended trailer for the new Karate Kid movie (which is a travesty, it's too soon for a remake), there is a scene where Jackie Chan is telling the kid to put on and take off his jacket a bunch of times. Then he attacks the kid and the kid has to defend himself using only those two moves. It's basically the same idea in Kenpo. The training is similar to learning how to write: First you learn the alphabet (basic moves) then you learn printing (short techniques), then cursive (long forms), and then you begin to use your own style of mixing and matching printing and cursive. It was a lot of fun, but I had other things I was focusing on and something had to go. After college I would like to go back.
