Wink Need Suggestions on FREE Car Show and Seminar

Hi to all Honda Club Members...Im new here, and I thought that you guys would be the best people to ask regarding possible topics for a free seminar that might come up some time between October and November. What do you guys think could be the possible topics--timely and interesting--to be substantially discussed?... Who can best speak for these topics?...A car company is willing to hold such an event in September for all car enthusiasts in the country... Also, what do you think of a FREE interclub car show with full Media coverage and big prizes from major sponsors in December?...I hope you can help me with this, and be able give us some ideas...thanks ...

Where are you located? What sort of seminar are you looking to have? Are you going to focus on vehicle builds? The ups and downs of track events and keeping street racing off the streets? What sort of context are you after?

I think an important topic to have a seminar on is Illegal Street Racing. I know it's a big problem in my area. I know that the SCCA does alot to keep racing on the track, but there's alot more that can be done. In my area we have a closed down IRL track that doesn't get used anymore, but with the right people, the track could be opened back up for SCCA functions, or "Track days", Car shows, alot of other stuff too. I know that people travel for miles to go Carlisle, PA... and I know that people would probably travel longer distances to go to Nazareth Speedway. I know you probably don't want to know all this, but I figured I'd just give you a couple examples of what I'm talking about. So here are a couple things to have a seminar on:
1. Street Racing
2. Engine Tuning
3. Suspension Tuning

We're from the Philippines, in Paranaque...The original idea is to focus on vehicle builds, but if we will get other suggestions that would be most interesting for car enthusiasts, then, probably we could use them as topics...and basically, it's supposed to be a seminar series, so I guess, we'll be choosing at least three to five topics...it all depends on how many will be participating...Most likely, we'll be inviting people from the car clubs...so, you could really be of great help...the seminar is scheduled some time in November...Anyway, with the Car show, it is set in December...I hope you'll help us out with this...Thanks and more power!...

If I were to attend an "open" seminar, I would be interested in the following topics.........

1) Street racing : keeping it off the street (options)
2) engine management (how to build bigger; fuel system, ignition system, etc)
3) suspension tech (what helps and what hurts)
4) body work : how to keep your paint good, truths and lies about paint

.........just to name a few.

I hate to stop street racing because, I love it mabe if there where more places to drag than there would not be as many street races. sometime street racing is more fun than track racing because of the filling you get when you race.I also think that anything that has cars and is free is fun. talk about how to keep your car street legal so you don't get stuck in the laws way of bigger problems.and you could talk about track racing.
