A couple friends of mine are on their way down to NOLA as volunteer police officers for security. I'm glad to know everything is okay.

lol, during Katrina some of the cops were part of the problem. I remember how the popped open the wal-mart for emergency supplies....you know, like electronics and dvd's and sneakers and alcohol.....emergency stuff that every on-duty officer needs. No looting happened at my grandmother's place last time, and the one that was leveled at lakeside(view?) if it were looted, no one would have known since it was full of pond water anyway.

If there would have been less cops I would have taken care of problems myself if looters would have come around.
