I'm Highly upset!!!!

my father took my car in to a detail shop to get her done up because i didn't have the time before i left to get her cleaned up. he dropped it off and then came back later to pick it up. come to find out there were 20 more miles put on it, the alignment was knocked WAY out, and the paint on the underside of the front bumper completely scrached all to hell.
As of right now I can't really do much about it because of where I am, but my father is working with the local BBB to pressure that shop in to paying for the paint and realignment. MAN it ticked me off to hear that

i agree and usually i don't, but i wasn't there and I know my father was just trying to do what he though was nice and right

Yeah I understand that. I just can't believe the nerve of some people. Just like one time I was getting my Accord inspected at the dealer and they said they had to take it for a ride. I gave them the keys and said ok. Well they didn't know what it had and when they got on the road they punched it and right away I heard tires screaming and the supercharger howling. They came back after about 5 minutes and I asked them how the ride was and they had a big grin on their face. That was about the time I said I wasn't paying for the inspection and I was calling the BBB. Long story short I was given a 2 year inspection for free.

Thats b/s I'd try to get their asses in trouble your dad was doing something nice for you and those assholes screwed it all up.

LOL that might work for everyone but me, lol. I haven't seen anything yet so I have no idea how it looks. I was told that the passenger tire was pushed out way too far to the point of plowing instead of rolling and the drivers side tired was knocked in but i didn't get a degree on that. and the underside front bumper paint is all jacked up.
I don't know how much they charged yet for the detail, and it would be great to sue their hind ends in court, BUT if it were $100 or less, i'd end up paying more in legal fees. . . making them fix the problems or at least paying them is good for me

It sounds like they probably smacked a storm drain or something. With that being said it will be more than an alignment to fix it.

I'm not sure exactly, but it's being done tomorrow morning. I'm having my father keep all repair bills so IF the BBB can get them to own up to it he'll have what he needs for full restitution.
