All it is are kids my age thinking their hardasses because they just got their license and they think that they gotta race every where to be "cool" like the guys in the Fast and Furious. That stuff pisses me off and people just need to learn to be more mature about things. Driving ain't nothing you can play around with because people die while driving everyday. The thing is they won't get a reality check until they get in a crash or something. I know that stuff is starting to die down here in Ohio because they are really strict on us teens when it comes to driving and I think it should be like that Nationwide. Here if you're 16 get pulled over for a moving violation or have more than one other person (not family) in the car you lose your license for 6 months or until your 17. If your 17 and get a moving violation you lose your license for 30 days. If you get another moving violation you lose your license until your 18.

Yeah, they deff. need a reality check! I remember when i got my license and I thought I was on top of the world, but i never thought I was the fastest car on the road. Might be because I had an 84' cadillac sedan de Ville. I don't know, maybe they will be getting their check before too long. The people who did it to me were older, i'd say around 19 or 20 where there is no reason for their actions, that I know of Jusk erks my nerves.

They're still young and dumb. No offense to anyone on here around that age. Just so ya know I'm 17 so I can be called that too. But I don't drive carelessly liek that.

a few is a start. Maybe police ought to start coming down hard on those type of drivers. It's a proven fact that street racing is down right dangerous, wreckless, and a multitude of other adjectives you wanna throw in there. Some day maybe people will realize

the funniest thing is when someones parents are rich and they give u a cool fast car than that person goes show off in front of firends (race) and he gets pulled over and looses his driving licence right after he got it, and that happens when i hear about i cant stop laughing how stupid and immature they are

I hate those Mommy/Daddy Kids. . . my parents are well off but that didn't meant they were buying me squat! I had to work and earn all that I had, which is why i had an 84 Cadillac, a nasty 90 chevy S-10 (that threw a lifter), and an old beat up Sentra SE-R. Worked my tail off at a gas station, McDonalds, and later Sears to get that while some kids at school were just given their NEW cars. Worst part is they made fun of us (the ones that had to work for it). I learned some Valuable lessons that way from my father and mother that those kids aren't going to learn until much later. however, somethings do come full circule. When I was home last (back in Maine). I drove with my wife to a steak house and there was one of those guys working as a waiter, dropped out of college, and no longer driving his nice new car. . . odd how that works out sometimes

You will rarely see a real street racer dragging their car..... that is unless you follow that crowd. They meet late in the evening/early morning in areas where they wont catch any flak -- i.e., where there arent any homes or traffic.

Okay so we all dislike the young racers. =)

I remember a kid in our high school (pretty well off area) who got a new viper when he got his drivers liscense and he totalled it on the highway exiting the off ramp.

So has anyone experienced a bad case of road rage? I had a buddy who got run off the road and the guy got out so he pulled a tire iron (prior to the third fast and the furious!!).

Any instances like this? What did you do?

I've got a story with a pretty good ending on this one. I have an uncle who has a hot temper...we don't like him very much. Anyway, he thought someone cut him off so he followed him to wherever he was going. The other guy (we'll just call him the victim) tried to do the right thing and just lock his doors and stay put. My uncle wouldn't leave. He kept cussing, screaming, and threatening the guy. Thats when the victim decided to call the police. When my uncle saw this, unlike any rational person that would have just calmed down, he decided to go balls to the walls ballistic and took out a tire iron and started to go to town on the guy's car. When this started to happen, the "victim" hopped out of his vehicle, took the tire iron from my uncle and threw it out of reach. After the tire iron was out of the way, my uncle decided to throw a punch at the "victim". After recieving said "punch", the "victim" proceeded to beat the crap out of my uncle until the police arrived. By this time, as you can imagine in a crowded city like New Orleans, a lot of bystanders (read: witnesses) had gatherer around and had seen everything. After everything was said and done, my uncle had to: pay for the "victim's" repairs, get a ticket, spend the night in jail, and he got his ass kicked. Thats a happy ending!
