Pet Peeves (Driving or in general)

So since the "People who **** with cars" thread kinda turned into a pet peeves about driving and other people i decided to just make another thread for that. So what are you're pet peeves? It can either be driving related or not.

MINE:
1)Slow drivers, i'm one of those people who CAN NOT go the speed limit. I have to go 5 or 10 MPH over all the time, uness it's a 30 zone which even then i catch myself goin 40. So when i get stuck behind someone who's goin slow i go CRAZY!, unless i'm just out drivin around. If i got somewhere to go though either drive faster then me or move outta the way. which brings me to another peeve...
2)People who drive faster then me or , lol if i'm on the highway (a one lane around my area) and you pass me i either have to pass you and speed ahead or try to ignore that ur infront of me untill u get far enough away that it doesn't bother me anymore. Maybe i just don't lie havein a car in front of me or something but it messes with me.
3)People who pass you and then don't go any faster then u.... pretty much self explanitory how that one makes me mad. Honestly if you pass me go faster then me.

So those are 3 about driving right off the top of my head.

I thought i was the only one who hated when people are in front of me It messes with me too, I have to just slow way down now so I dont get tempted to smoke em.( I have 10points on my license )

I also hate when people look in their rearview mirror, see behind them, and then start brake checking me. Whats up with that?

And the worst thing is, everyday that I drive my car, a cop sees it and has to follow me. I work at 4am every morning and I get followed every morning and I have been stopped for NOTHING 5 times, the latest on memorial day because "he couldnt see my front license plate" which is mounted right on the bumper.

Seriously, in the last few days of commuting back and forth to school (moving out), I have begun to hate people. People who are on their cellphones. People who aren't using their turn signals. People who are blocking the fast lane. People who just can't drive at all. **** PEOPLE!!!!

that's another thing. A few days ago i was drivin to a movie and this guy in a black truck is weavin through traffic without usin turn signals and then cuts across 2 lanes to turn left and cuts some guy off at the intersection.

These are in order
1.) Texting while driving (redlights idc)
2.) Talking on the phone while driving.
3.) Reading while driving (includes writing or typing something)
4.) People who cut me off and slow down.
5.) People who cut me off period.
6.) People who don't use signals.
7.) People who go 10-20 mph under the speed limit.
8.) People who go voer 10 mph over the speed limit.
9.) Cops.
10.) People who weave in and out of traffic thats going speed limit.

When 2 people are doing the same speed side by side and the ones that cut you off to slow down.

I second all of the above except for any regarding going over a certain speed. I routinely do MUCH higher than the speed limit usually do 85-95 or so on the highway. For some reason my GPS has clocked me at a high speed of 158 =) -- tap tap -- think it must be going bad.

The fast lane is for passing or driving fast, except in traffic of course. The only problem is that there is usually someone dumb enough to pull in front of you. I think its fair to drive as fast as long as 1.) you car safely allows for speed and 2.) you have enough smarts to control it. Driving dangerously is one thing, but Germans dont seem to have a problem doing 120 in the fast lane -- why should we?

Haven't had any tickets in the last 7 years and I usually fly. I got busted for no seatbelt after pulling out of the grocery the other day though. =(

I am considering system (supposedly illegal) to deflect radar that my friends has.... no idea if it works or not. Any one using these devices?

I do agree except you now people would take it too far, like some dumb kids who just got their license racin down the highway at 100 plus and loose control.... not good. And i am pretty sure radar jammers (that is what ur talking about?) are illegal in ALL states if u get caught (note that last part)

I need a radar detector cops are cracking down around here. I see alot more cops out now.. Stupid cops.. Lol sorry if you are or know one its just most cops piss me off cuz they pull us over for everything they do in their squad car so I don't see how that works..

People who drive slow and then speed up when I go to pass them are fun, because I just drop 4 gears and leave them in the dust.
