Ok, so my new honda is a '95 Si. It has 87k on the body, 25k on a built b18b swap. This car has just about every bolt-on on the market, all good stuff to. 16 inch true rotas, full skunk2 suspension. Mugen headers, internals, etc. New body panels, and a metallic blue pearl. However I'm already wanting more... I paid $5,350. Good deal?

I know a guy with a beautiful '00 hatch with stock motor but only 75k orginal miles. He wants $5,300. He's a complete ricer cause he's got every body mod and a nice sound system but no performance mods. It has some pontential though. Hell the carbon fiber hood and trunk and mugen suspension are worth as much as he's asking.

It depends on what your idea of a good deal is. I bought my 1990 Nissan 240SX for $4300. It had over 200K on the body, about 60K on the SR20DET swap. It had the Sil-Eighty front-end conversion, an HKS trubo, GReddy FMIC, Autometer gauges, KYB reds, Nito Neo Gens, and a welded-in roll bar. But it didn't run. After about $700 in towing and repair bills, I think I got one of the best deals out there. Yeah it's still rough around the edges and still needs a lot more work, but I love it.
The car you bought is a good deal. The 2000 Civic is a good deal if you don't mind tearing out all the sound stuff. And the CF trunk and hood are probably fiberglass wrapped carbon. Complete trash. You picked the better car.
