My dad has about 120K miles on his '05 Matrix. He commutes 100 miles a day for work (50 each way). By the time it's as old as your Civic, it will probably have 7 figures. If he still has it that is.
My Integra with 270K was still fun to drive, even with the rusted out floor pan. I can't wait to get to restoring it so I can drive it brand new. |

i had a 91 accord qit 217k on it b4 it got hit n there was no doubt in my mind that it would live past that but sadly i got hit n totaled my car and it still runs to this day.(i stil have it in my yard waitin for the insurance to take it)

Don't wait on it. They can go without warning. Engine rebuilds are expensive. It's happened to my family twice before (one time was because the retards at the dealer didn't tighten the belt correctly and it snapped in under 30k miles. First time was our fault. Thank god it broke right outside the neighborhood. I was only 7 or 8 at the time).
