It's a shame they don't offer it after AIT (advanced individual traning). I can only figure that after putting out 100K +/- to put one soldier through it, the gov is too cheap to pay for the testing or the actual certs. LOL

i'm in the Army; Yup you are right they are sending almost all of the money going into the gov. on this war in Iraq and Afghanistan. But that Still doesn't fix the point that soldiers don't get paid well.
I've been in for 7 years now. I've reached the rank of Sergeant (E5). I am a supervisor of anywhere between 1 to 8 guys. with my job, and my grade level a guy in the civilian sector makes about 60,000 to 80,000 K a year where I only make about 28,000K pay is not all that great, but awesome job security |

I think treatment goes along with who you work with. I can't really complain too much about that. There are people in my current unit that have pushed me to my choise to separate from the army after this deployment, but thats not the only reason I'll be leaving.
now Army doctors, theres some really great treatment. Go in with a problem and they think your lying about it and feed ya motrin. GREAT! because that will fix my knees...LOL |
