I have never been in a wreck so far (knock on wood). But this summer not even a month after I got my lisence I was sitting at a four way intersection and an old lady was making a left turn on to the road I was on and almost fricken head on me! I was soo pissed off. I had to back my car up and go past the white line so she would hit me. She scared the crap out of me!. Then in the parking lot at work a lady talking on the cell phone was behind me and fricken when to pass me on the right and I was turning into a parking spot on the right! Like as I was turning into the spot the idiot went to go around me on the right side which was where the spot was, I felt like ripping the lady a new one I was so pissed off. People around here do nothing but talk on the phone as their driving and it is my biggest driving pepeeve. I've done it twice while driving through my neighborhood but I was telling the people that I was driving and can't talk.

1 year. I got rear ended on my way home from school. Then a year later I hit the tree. Not all my fault. Technically it's my parent's car (their name is on the title and registraion), so they have to ok any parts for it. I told them for a month I needed new tires. Then on my way home from school, I hit a wet patch and slid into the tree (not even speeding). So when my mom came home and saw my bumper and spoiler hanging off, we bought new tires the next week. If I was in the same situation today, I'd have made it out without a scratch. Chalk it up to inexperience, but if i had the new tires, it wouldn't have happened in the first place.

I got my License back in march of 98. . about 3 months later i was driving down the road and this Truck changed lanes too soon and ripped my front end off my 1st car (84 cadillac de ville). We pulled off the road, he comes back askes if everything was ok, said to my friend and I, "i'm so sorry, i didn't see you there, But don't worry my insurance will cover everything". Everything changed though when the police showed up. He told the Cops I drove into him and then told him to F**K off. Because i was under the age of 21 and a new driver the cop didn't even talk to me, just put it down on the report that it was my fault. I tried to fight it in court, but again i was a "new" driver and got boned!
Thankfully though that was my first and only accident.

I forgot I also hit a deer between my other two accidents. Went around a blind corner and it ran across the road. It somesaulted over the front of the car (actually pretty cool looking). It only knocked the grill out of my dad's Matrix. He was pissed thought I was going too fast. Truth is, it wouldn't have mattered who was driving, there was no time to stop.

It's not just where you live either. Drivers nationwide suck. In Clearwater, I was sitting at redlight when I witnessed a cloae encounter of the dumbass kind.
You know how people creep forward slowly waiting for the light. Well, the cars in the lane next to me were doing that and some bo-dink in his new G-6 was rolling along side me staring at my car. And rolled directly into the RSX in front of him. Very little damage.... but still.

My car's not bad but it's nothing worth smashin stuff to see.
