Got a scenerio I'd like to run by ya all.
I buy an xbox 360 march 2007. Works great for a few months. Then dies for no apparent reason. I mail in to the company, they mail me a new one. That one dies two days later. I mail it in, get a third. Plays for alittle over a week then dies. I just mailed that in. While waiting for my forth 360. I wonder if it's worth the hassle of continuing with the systems. If any of you were in the same situation. Would you try to keep the fourth system, or just sell it out right and get some cash in your pocket. I just bought Need for Speed: Prostreet because it has my 06 Civic Si in it. Which i trick out like I wish I could with my real life one. I'm sick of having to wait 3 weeks total time to get a working system back. of the 9 months I've had a 360, I've only been able to play it 6. Been thinking of getting a ps3 maybe or taking the cash and saving for a V2 Cold Air intake. Car, Ps3, or Xbox. I'm in the air. |

My 360 died once (my brother played for about 30 hrs straight and it overheated), but I've never had any other problems, I'd give it another chance.

I got it on a 40 dollar surge protector. I wondered if I was confining it too much. It sits on a shelf on my entertainment stand that is 3feet wide, 11 inches high, and about 20 inches deep. It has room around it. But I wasn't sure. I am gonna try the open setting, and maybe a different outlet. My place isn't very new. so I was wondering if it was just a screwed up socket.

that prolly is cuz i mean if they are contained they blow out hear out of the fans in the back.. they take the cool air out of the air around it and put warm air out of it.. if that makes sense? and if its in a confined space its just gunna circulate the hot air.. i would put it at the top of the entertain ment stand and put it on its side.. thats where they get the most circulation.. i want having freezing issues wit my 360 and the lady told me to put it on a higher surface and havent had issue since besides xbox live acting up here and there.. but besides those issues i havent had any negitive expirences wit my 360 all but my disk tray doesnt like to open and ive thought about calling them and see if i can get that fixed for free..
