well there is currently a model for I beleive $399...no hard drive so no save...the ps3 doesnt use memory cards...but you can get a memory card connector to upload ps2 data to the hard drive and keep all that invested time...

Well for 599 that isn't too bad if you are wanting to buy a Blue Ray player. A good Blue Ray will run you about 600. So I guess you can look at it as you get a Blue Ray player and a free game console.
