Red face Saw A car that I used to own and felt wierd.

I sold my 90 Nissan Maxima last year, I loved that car, well just yesterday I saw the guy that I sold it to driving it. I pulled up next to him and asked how it was running, he said he was taking care of her.

I felt like he was dating my old girlfriend of somthing. its a trip. I just wanted to know if anybody else has ever felt like this?

no offense narde, but that's hilarious ! that HAS happened to me, it was with a FORD, though, so it wasn't as painful, but it did feel pretty strange.

Well we tend to get pretty close to our cars...thats why they say "the American love affair with the automobile"

Plus add in the time if any custom work was done or even just maintenance is like quality time spent with a companion...so you feel like you seen your ex chick with someone else...

If have been lucky enough that when I trade off a car it usually isnt gonna last much longer so I have never seen one again except for my 81 corolla with 475K miles on it...but its 1000 miles away!

wow, that is wierd, did you know the person you sold it too?

I've never seen a car I've sold (probably because I've never sold one), and so far all the Honda's my parents have had they either still have or my dad has crashed

I know him thru a mutual aquantiance. I heard it was still running well and thats it, but when i saw it from a distance I reconized it, because it had a lil paint sctatched off the bumper.

funny thing is im in rush hour traffic chicago coming down central (two lane street) sitting at a red light at lake, he made a left turn in front of me. when the light finally turned green i had to time two lights and run a stop sign to catch him right befor he hit I 290.

dont think i ever went thru so much to see a exgirlfriend.
