Hm, I'm not lawyer so this is just a guess, but a parking lot is private property so I would think it would be the discretion of the owners of that parking lot.
I have also been told that you cannot get a ticket for not stopping at a stop sign inside of a parking lot for this same reason. |

You can get into trouble for it. If it is a private parking lot and you have written expressed permission from the owner then it is okay. If you want to try and learn driving skills without paying for Auto cross then hit up a pastor at a church with a big parking lot that how no poles. If you know of one very far out that is safe the cops will probably just ask you to leave.

I just drove around in a small park lot (not busy when its 17 degress out) its very smooth, and nothing on it, it was fun, but too small, and its right next to a heavily travelled road.
We're getting snow tomorrow, I already asked my dad if I could take his car out to do doughnuts, he said no , and I doubt I'd be able to get the car to a lot anyways. (and I wouldn't have his help, he's in San Fransisco right now)btw, I just heard that one of our teachers got arrested for doing doughnuts in the school lot during the last storm. (mainly because he had unpaid parking tickets) ![]()
