I'm just careful when I use speed, mostly on back roads I know well, and I never speed on the interstate (state police = radars)

Its too bad you can't even use radar detectors anymore, with lazers out there is no way to detect them in time, I've heard in Pheonix they are going to use computerized speed cameras that will send you tickets in the mail
![]() If they set those things to 70mph the number of tickets will be unreal

Its funny you mention it. A couple of months I got pulled over by a sheriff for having a headlight out. I got a fix it ticket because I didn't have a replacement headlight in hand. Now at the time I had blue marker lights, he didn't say two words to me about them. A couple of weeks later I was washing my car and a local yokel pulls up and tells me I can get a ticket for the blue lights. At this time I had the lights in for close to 6 months, I drive through this town twice a day on my way to work. I think they pick and choose how to enforce the VTL. Upstate NY.

Did you get ticketed for the blue lights?
I think some of the new cops probally feel they have to get a bunch of tickets to prove their worth, but the veterns know there are bigger problems out there than blue lights.

It's funny, I was looking something up in the Highway Traffic Act (here in Canada), and apparently it's legal to have 'amber' or 'green' marker lights.
You never actually see green though....

I have learned here in Pa that near the end of the month you need to do posted speed limit and drive very carefully.. The state boys are always on the prowl near the end of the month to make their quota.... I got pulled over for doing 67 in a 65... That's just sad.... I am suprised he did not ticket me for my hood.. I found out I am only allowed a 2 inch scoop.. I made a custom 4 " scoop on my car... But yes they ball busters near where I live
