BMW headlights are called Halo lights or Angel Eyes. Might as well tint the entire car while your there. The rear windshield and the rear quarters can be as dark as you want them, just make sure your passanger and driver side windows are legally tinted, thats how I have mine set up. Anyway cant wait to see some pics.

like i said in the other post. . her in nj. . .NO tint allowed in the front.....i use to have it when i moved up from TX, and all i did was get harassed by the cops and one ticket until i removed it. My advice, no front window ting (drivers and passengers door). also you will not be able to pass inspection if you have those windows tinted either

Cops cant measure the rear quarters or the rear window, as I said before just keep the driver and passanger windows legal because cops can measure those. As for the front windshield, as far as I know your allowed to go down 4 or 5 inches from the top and keep it legal, thought that might just be for GA, you cant tint your entire windshield. Most cars already have a "sunviser" tint on them already and if you want you can apply tint over that to help block out more sunlight.
Find out what window tint is legal in your state. If you wanna play it safe, just apply legal tint to every window minus the windshield.

your back quarters and your rear window can be as dark at you want them to be, hell paint them black if you really want to. It's your drivers door window and passengers door window (front) that can not have any tint on them what-so-ever.
NJ law sucks when it comes to tint and a double standard because cops can have their personal cars tinted LIMO all the way around. . . go figure...welcome to the soprano state |

I use to live in TX before moving up here to NJ and I have my windows legal there. The second I took of the TX tags and replaced them with "THE GARDEN STATE" I started getting crap from cops passing by until I had it removed. The tint shop should have known that and they are suppose to tell you "Hey, what you want is illegal, we can do it, but we can not be held liable for your actions". |

He hasnt gotten tint yet, a tint shop will should tell you whats legal and whats not as TNT said. They will put whatever you want on your car legal or not, but the ticket is on you if you get in trouble.
