The s2000 will be out for the 2007 year and no further plans are made. Honda keeps everything under very tight wraps. You wont know whats coming out untill concepts are made and are in transit to dealers. The 09 CRX (EQ) is a total sham. I have no clue where you heard this from, but I assure you it's not true. |

I don't know where 89,000 came from, the NSX was closer to 60,000 but it still in no way will compare to a Prelude. It out handels the S2000, but isn't no where near as nice. The guages are very retro, the seats are not very sporty, it's not what you would expect honestly. I would still love to have one.

The prelude was nice, but HEAVY!!! Even with the 2.2 it was still a dog cause of the weight.
The NSX. Beautiful work of ART. ALmost perfectly balanced, and glides across the road ways. I would love to have a NSX R.

It all zero's back to the long lasting dilema of "what do you want from your car." If you want good handling, then a well balanced mid engine, rear wheel drive would be ideal, or a well tuned AWD. The only drawback to the AWD is that it too is heavy. May throw off your balance.
An AWD with a strong system is good for straight line drag cause you are "pushing" and "pulling" at the same time. my CRX is just a toy for the street. She's never seen the track yet, and don't know if she will. If I had the means (and weren't having a kid in 5 weeks) I would get a S2K in a heartbeat. But again, I would choose that cause it's an engineering wonder once again released by Honda.
