Yeah I agree with everyone else.
It depends on how familiar you are with bikes. I dont have a whole lot of experience with them, but a friend of the family just got a GSXR 1000 (used to riding 600s -- 6 years) and spilled the thing 4 times in the first three months of ownership because it began to drift on him as it hit the throttle. If you are like most, you will probably try that power out and get yourself in trouble unless you are experienced. Make sure you aren't an organ doner (what our doctor friends call everyone with a sport bike)! Thats why I stick to 4 wheels -- I test out the top speed too often. =) Good luck!

I like Gixxers and Honda bikes. But I won't get a bike because I don't feel like having a funeral before I'm old lol.

They aren't that bad if you are a very defensive driver. You just have to watch for everyone else and remember " Loud pipes save lives"

Newer 600s are considered Superbikes....it will be plenty. Plus its lighter.
When you get one, get to know yourself....then get to know the rest of the world. |

If you're new to riding, get an older cbr600f4i. They are detuned compared to the rr's. A liter bike is WAY to big for a beginner. Start small and cheap, then work your way up growing out of small bikes and into bigger bikes. No need to rush!
