Well with that said I have a 400ex. Anyone know of the best combination for power? I am referring to 416, 425, 440 or 465. I know there is no replacement for displacement but the 440 or 465 have alot of moving mass with that much larger piston so it isn't very good for low end but good for top end. I am looking for all around good bike. Trails or top end moving. I was considering turbo charging the bike but I am unsure. If you have any ideas let me know.

425 should be a good balance...for what you are looking for

Well I figured out what I am gonna do. I am going to turbo the stock block and if I fry the motor I will build it to a 425. I have seen a turbo on one other 400ex and it was a monster of a bike. it doubled the power and it was still efficient. So that is my plan now as soon as I get the bill for my paint job...lol

Well it has been a while since I posted anything in here about my quad. Well I wanted to turbo it but I caught my head and refuse to spend 4000 on a turbo kit. So I ended up going with a 416 with 11 to 1 compression, Stage II Hot Cam, a valve job with a port and polish, shaved the head to bump the compression to 11.5 to 1, AMR coil, White Bros rev box, dropped 2 teeth on the rear sprocket and a boondocker nitrous kit. Now it runs like a scalded dog!

If anyone else has an ATV or dirtbike lets hear what you got!

Oh yeah it is. If I am running on the street and I spray it she stands up if I am not leaning forward. lol
