ok my name is chris, i have a 94 accord and it leaks like a sive. i have tried to find a prelude engine for it but non of the junk yards around have anything. it has a 2.2 in it and i was hoping to put an H22 in it. i was told that i could make my engine into a v-tec but i dont know the details.. any segestions??

thanks. yea and about my car... i have talked to a few friends of mine and got a few ideas but im not sure how hard it would be or if its even possible. do you know if its possible to put 2.4 cylinder sleaves in a 2.2? i need to rebuild the engine anyway and i was hoping i could make a 2.4 v-tec out of it... any info on the subject would be helpful

Welcome to the Club! H22 would be a great swap for the Accord. You can get new mounts and harnesses for it. And they can produce a lot of power. One warning is that the H22 is kinda heavy which can cause oversteer. But if that doesn't bug you it really is a great engine and you can really get some decent torque out of it. Also doesn't lack HP hardly at all either.

thanks. nah im not worried about the oversteer. i heard that v-tecs are more fuel efficent and heard that the H22 has over 200Hp. this is my every day driver and i just wanna stop spending more in oil every month than i do in gas. lol plus the power of those things migt be a little fun too.
