So I think I may be the only one on here but I am selling my 05 RX8 as my DD and currently bidding on a Honda Insight

Now see here I want to do some performance mods, but it appears everyone on the Insight forums are obsessed with MPG.

Any other Insight owners on here or can direct me to someone who knows about the car? I'm thinking about maybe a K20 swap sometime in the future

i dont think buying insight witch is a hybrid car is a good idea. instead id buy older civic si and start from there. did u talk to anybody that has the same car with mods?

Civic Si sounds like a bad idea to me. The point there was to get a rare car. Throw in it weighs in at 1800lbs wet, sounds like a good starting point for anything.

No don't stick with Mazda =(... If you want a rare Honda look for an Acura or Honda Integra Type-R if you go with an honest Honda Integra thats about as rare as it gets (besides Honda NSX-R of course)...That or if you go the wallet go for the new Civic Mugen SI but that will cost ya a pretty penny...

there are no mods for hybrids or insight currently available commercially

ok thats wat i thought. do u think hybrids have chance in racing if there would be parts available in a couple of years?

I've seen a few performance Prius's lol.. Idk how fast they were or any of the details on them but all I know is that they were souped up.. I personally would think it would be Halarious to get a Prius and swap the motor and get rid of all the hybrid crap on it then soup it up and kick Mustangs left and right.. Talk about sleeper.. No one would expect it at all..
