I'm a HondaCar owner again!!!

Wow. It's been 6 years since I've owned a Honda product. My first car was a 1986 Ford Escort (which only lasted 2 years after it was handed down from my mom). Needing a commuter car for college, my dad helped me get a 92 Honda Civic (my first Honda) back in 91. I drove that car until 2001, when I handed it down to my little brother, and I got a Jeep. I LOVE my Jeep, and it's staying in the family. In the interim, I bought an 03 Tahoe, to move people around and to tow the Jeep on a trailer to go off-roading.

Memorial Day Monday, I had decided to suspend my off-roading for a while, and gave up the Tahoe for a new 07 TL Type-S. I got it with 8 miles on it. It hasn't even been a full week yet, and I've put 400 miles on it already. I remembered why I loved Honda Cars! For the money, this car has it ALL! I'm finding every reason to back it out of the garage and drive it around. In Albuquerque, this car is rare. In fact, there are only 4 Type S's in the city of ABQ (for now), and about 9 total in the state (unless they drove it in from out of state, according the ONLY Acura dealership in the state of New Mexico). I love it when I drive around town, and people actually stop and look at the car as I drive by.

I haven't had a chance to really open it up yet. I took it easy for the first 200 miles, and am now driving "normally". But the moment I hit 600 miles, I'm going to see what it can do.
