Default Rebuilt motor

I just rebuilt my motor. I timed it using a haynes manual. Everything is times and set properly but the motor will not fire. It may sputter but nothing close to firing. When I take out the plugs they are soaked in gas.

Sounds like you don't have the fuel pressure right. What kind of engine is this? What car is it out of?

Do you have the spark plugs hooked into the distributor right? I can give you a pic and diagram tomorrow afternoon.
